In the summer, camp is charged on a weekly basis. All deposits and tuition are non-refundable.

The CAPITAL CYCLE CAMP is a registered L.L.C in the District of Columbia under Capital Cycle Collective with comprehensive liability insurance. All employees undergo safety training and plan out routes and procedures when the camp becomes operational each summer.

Late Policy– there will be a $1 dollar per minute charge for the first five minutes after 6:00 pm and $2 per minute after 6:05 pm. On nice days, we will wait outside the school during pick-up time and begin unlocking bikes. If you arrive before 5:00 pm, we may still be out on the streets. In any case, please feel free to reach out to me.

Dropping your child off- Please reserve a little extra time on the first day to fill out any required forms that you have not completed. Parents with children under the age of ten should always walk them to the room where they start the day. Please ensure to arrive before 9:30 am. We have a Morning Meeting that goes over Safety, Activities, Growth Mindset, and any concerns, and we really encourage campers not to miss this time.

Behavioral Issues- In all circumstances, I will take the situation into account. Misbehavior will be followed with logical consequences and staff will communicate with a parent if a youngster becomes unsafe or affects the camp dynamic. As a teacher, behavior management is part of my job. I want all students to have a blast with us. Summer camp is supposed to be fun.  All of the staff look forward to running a safe, supportive, and fun cycle camp!
