Capital Cycle Camp is a Summer Camp filled with exploration, fun, socio-emotional activities, biking, and all the fun of summer.

We rode over 630 miles last summer and plan on doing it again. It’s an adventure every day on two wheels.

Exploring our Local museums, activities, Rivers, Parks, and other local Gems

Camp Director Curtis has an action-packed schedule of riding every day, visiting local museums, parks, pools, Old Town Alexandria, Theodore Roosevelt Island, learning to ride the Metro with bikes, and many more educational and exploratory activities.

Ride to the Zoo. Northwest routes take us on all day journeys.

Exploring local parks, while just being a kid.

Staying Active

City or not, the summer is a time to get outdoors. We believe in staying active and at Capital Cycle Camp we make sure your kids do too. Last summer Cyclers rode on average 50 miles a week. We leave no Cyclers behind. Each Cycler is encouraged to go at their own pace.

Social emotional wellbeing

Social-Emotional well-being is emphasized daily and discussed during our morning meetings. Riders are supported daily through challenges and build confidence with every mile.

Making Connections while being Safe

With biking, safety is a must. We make sure everyone learns to ride as a team and sticks together for a safe and active week on bikes. We consistently go over Safety, Safety, and Safety. We also teach basic bike maintenance and care.

The Capital Cycle Camp is proud to call the Hill home!
